As the Koala Joey gets to be about three months old they start to develop a sense of their wider world and like many of us they begin to explore. Whilst usually nocturnal these marsupials have to learn their surroundings and the skills needed to safely move around the tree branches looking for leaf! For the Joeys this is best done in daylight, but even then the first few weeks are often awe inspiring with the occasional OMG what’s that moment often accompanied with a “must hold on” moment… This was one such moment - a great image to put on the wall for the “Joeys” in your world!
