Bennett’s Wallaby has two forms - the usual dusky brown fur and this albino form which is most prevalent in Tasmania. The smaller gene pool of those on Australia’s Island State has a very high number with the recessive gene. These two were part of a mob in the foothills of the Central Highlands on the edge of a farm, I suspect they had just completed a feeding raid. It was too much of a temptation catching the pose which is a tribute to that ABBA classic video clip, much loved by many Aussies!
